Audition Repertoire Requirements
Piano accompaniment is not required. Please submit two recordings that show your musical abilities. Cuts between excerpts are fine.
French Horn
- First movement exposition from a standard repertoire concerto, such as Mozart, R. Strauss or Gliere.
- Three standard, contrasting orchestral excerpts of your choice.
Trumpet
- First movement exposition from a standard repertoire concerto, such as Hummel or Haydn.
- Three standard, contrasting orchestral excerpts of your choice.
Trombone
- First movement exposition from a standard repertoire composition, such as the David Concertino, Grondahl Concerto, Sulek Sonata or Saint-Saens Cavatine.
- Three standard, contrasting orchestral excerpts of your choice.
Tuba
- First movement exposition from a standard repertoire composition, such as the Vaughan Williams Tuba Concerto, Hindemith Tuba Sonata or Bordogni Etudes.
- Three standard, contrasting orchestral excerpts of your choice.
